The plant and animal seasons of rest and reach are familiar to me. I am an animal, after all. This series was great company to me as they came to life in my heart and home through the strange covid times of 2020. They depict the bloom curling inward to gather energy to bloom again in a repetitive cycle. Selected works from this series were exhibited as a solo show at Artists’ Own Gallery in Lafayette, Indiana from July 2 through August 7, 2021.
